The Eucharist is the central source in our daily walk as Christians. As Catholics, we believe in transubstantiation, the transformation of bread and wine into the true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. During Mass, we gather around the Lord's table and remember Christ's Passion, sacrifice on the corss, His Resurrection and His Ascencion as Jesus instructed us during the Last Supper.
In order to prepare our hearts for this we offer a First Communion program through Religious Education. Children 7 through 17 years of age, can be signed up for classes which take place on Saturday mornings. Adults 18 years or older seeking to receive their First Communion can inquire about our RICA program, which meets on Wednesday evenings. Call (562) 927-3185 for more.
